The Lullaby Bear by Teasdale Teddies was borne from a sad story of a man called Brian Teasdale Snr who wrote this lullaby, inside of the Teddy Bear, over 58 years ago for his own child.
Brian had written poetry and songs for over 71 years when he was sadly brain injured in a tragic event. However, at the age of 89 years old his only daughter Karen saw her father’s song was released and Brian at the age of 89 years old, with the help of BBC radio Newcastle and the students from Sunderland College along with their lecturer Tony Wilson and another kind man called David from Sapien Records achieved his lifelong dream.
Karen says “when my father sang this song to me, as a child, I knew he loved me and now every little girl and boy in the world can feel that love, with thanks to my dad.
The Lullaby Bear is a beautiful Teddy Bear with a beautiful song inside and to know that this Teddy Bear can make any child feel loved and special, is priceless”.
Teasdale teddies are unique in every way. The lullaby bear is In memory of my dad, the poet and song writer, Brian Teasdale Snr. I Love you Forever.
